The Feds Left the Fed Funds Rate Alone Today

Hello and Happy Tuesday,

The Feds left the Federal FundsRate alone at thier meeting this morning. The Federal Funds rate is the rate that the Government lends to banks. This was left unchanged again today which is good news for consumers.
This rate is not to be confused with mortgage backed securitieswhich have the possibility of rising next month,  increasing mortgage rates, like a 30 year fixed rate. See the full story: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100316/ap_on_bi_ge/us_fed_interest_rates
