Great little article in Realtor Mag this month with similarities to the 80′s. There is an investment firm that discusses the comparisons to the 8o’s and how now is a great time to buy for investors. Here is a link to the article: http://www.realtor.org/RMODaily.nsf/pages/News2010052001?OpenDocument

As the Federal Home Buyer Tax credit ended last month, California‘s Tax Credit for New Home/First Time home buyer began May 1st and is well under way. Here is a link that explains the credit in detail: http://www.ftb.ca.gov/individuals/new_home_credit.shtml
But you better hurry as Robert Kleinhenz, an economist with the California Association of Realtors, calculated that the $100 million California has allocated for the new home buyer portion of the credit probably won’t last till the end of May.
If you would like further information or have any questions feel free to call or email me.
As always, have a great week!
